Seventeen Wake Tech students have been selected as recipients of the prestigious Goodnight Transfer Scholarship at North Carolina State University.

The full-ride scholarship supports North Carolina community college graduates pursuing bachelor’s degrees at N.C. State. The Wake Tech students will begin their next academic journey this fall as Goodnight Transfer Scholars.

The scholarship is valued at $24,000 per year for up to three years and covers the full cost of attendance, along with additional academic and professional development opportunities.

Wake Tech recipients were selected based on exceptional achievements during their community college careers, including academic excellence, extracurricular involvement, community engagement and a strong interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics and education.
