Heads up! Hunt Library will be closed on Monday, October 19, during Fall Break. The new electrical substation to service Centennial Campus is being connected to the power grid. But the Hill Library will be open Fall Break hours!

Join the NC State University Libraries and Student Leadership and Engagement for a workshop on starting the research process, understanding the responsibilities of candidates’ elected positions, and practicing evaluating information on candidates. There will be no promotion of individual candidates or platforms.
Learning Objectives:
• Identify types of sources that can contain information about candidates
• Practice seeking multiple sources of information
• Recognize the roles and issues that the candidates are running for

Femme & Friends Game Night aims to open the traditionally male-dominated space of gaming and esports to women, femme-identifying individuals and allies, enabling them to connect, have fun and build community. Whether you’re a seasoned gamer or new to the gaming world, this event offers an enjoyable and supportive environment that celebrates underrepresented gamers. Everyone is welcome to actively participate.

Applications close soon for the Data Science Training Intensive on October 19-20! Need help building the foundational skills for the data work in your graduate program? This two-day intensive will provide introductions to essential topics for graduate students working with data to prepare them for coursework, research, and future careers.While space is limited, participation in the training has no cost. Applications are due by Monday, September 28.
