Come see students' ideas for a new Design Library! The Design Library is the only library on campus not renovated in the last 15 years. Building on survey data collected in spring 2025, last year ten design classes worked on re-envisioning the Design Library for the way students and faculty work now. Creating posters, videos, models and slideshows, the exhibit showcases design students' ideas, talents and desires for a renovated Design Library. The exhibit will be in Brooks Hall Gallery until September 10. The students' projects are also available online. https://design.ncsu.edu/academics/re-envisioning-the-design-library/

JOIN US for the NC State Collegiate Game Jam in September! This Jam is a four‑day creative sprint where students from any major team up to build playable games and digital art from the ground up. Whether participants are artists, coders, designers, or storytellers, they dive into hands‑on workshops on project design and development, version control, game engines, and other popular tools. Teams tackle fast‑paced design challenges and refine their prototypes with one‑on‑one feedback from NC State faculty, Esports staff, and industry mentors. Beyond the competition for cash prizes, exclusive swag and bragging rights, participants expand their portfolios, level up their skills, and connect with a community of fellow creators—and have a blast doing it!
