For the last several years, Center for Innovation Management Studies (CIMS), NC State University has been involved with an incredibly exciting executive education program The Executive Farm Management Program. It is one which is providing the most progressive business management tools and competencies to our Modern Farmers of the Southeast.

In December, I had the honor of giving a Talk at the tedxcarywomen event and I recently learned that selected my talk/video to be hosted on their website!! 👏

In my talk, I make the connection that our American Farmers not only provide our Food and Fiber, but they also help ensure our National Security and Economic Stability and that it is critical they have the tools, skills and support they need to survive so that they may continue to provide for each of us.

I hope that you will take a look and should you like it, that you will share with others. This message of linking our farmers to our nation's larger existence and presence is one which is often overlooked. What a week! We had a fantastic week hosting guests from South Korea. They represented start-up companies, venture firms, government agencies/city municipalities and our partner institution, Innopolis Foundation. We talked all things strategy, innovation and the all mighty value proposition. In 2019 we travel to Korea to deliver more material and meet even more fabulous, fun and innovative folks! We even brought out the selfy stick for last group photos of the week and in honor of North Carolina State University Football and NC State University’s homecoming we taught them how to give the Wolf sign.
