Real-world learning makes a real difference. ⚡ Through the Careers Electric™ Summer Academy, students at Wake Technical Community College gained hands-on experience, built valuable skills and discovered new confidence that extends well beyond the classroom. Programs like this are helping prepare the next generation for rewarding careers in the electrical industry.

Democracy Unfiltered – Voter Education Series

📅 First Session: Monday, August 17 6pm-8pm every week until November 3rd
📍 Location: Raleigh Brewing Company
🎟️ Admission: Free
🍕 Free pizza (first come, first served)
🥤 Free non-alcoholic beverages
🍺 Alcoholic beverages are available for guests 21+ with valid ID.

Beginning Monday, August 17, Raleigh Brewing will launch Democracy Unfiltered voter education series designed to help young and first-time voters better understand the voting process and feel confident participating in our democracy. Raleigh Brewing has always believed that strong communities are built through civic engagement. While they don't endorse candidates or political parties, they do believe every eligible voter should understand the voting process, know where to find reliable information, and feel confident casting a ballot.

Raleigh Television Network’s Channel 18 broadcasts programming created by the six Colleges and Universities of the CRC. Many of the segments are produced by students. You can experience musical performances, guest speakers, seasonal specials, and even graduation ceremonies from the comfort of your home. If you live in Raleigh or the surrounding suburbs with access to Spectrum cable, tune into Channel 18 for 24/7 entertainment provided by our colleges!
