From Peace to a psychology firm founder and stand-up comedian! 🎤

We were excited to welcome back Dr. Kristen Wynns ’97 to campus recently. Dr. Wynns spoke to students in Marketing 230 and Marketing 335: Entrepreneurial Marketing, sharing her incredible career journey.

From studying at Peace to becoming a psychologist, founding her own successful psychology firm, and even pursuing stand-up comedy, she showed our students how you can build your own unique and versatile career path.

Thank you to our incredible volunteer Peace Alumni Board members, Paula Fahnestock '64 and TJ Hill Johnson '26, for hosting the Advancement/Alumni Board table at yesterday’s Purpose@Peace Engagement Fair!

Paula and TJ spent the afternoon connecting with students and educating them on the incredible lifelong benefits of being a Peace alum once they graduate.

Purpose@Peace is designed to help students explore careers, engagement, and involvement opportunities both on- and off-campus based on their areas of interest.

Peace alumni connections!

Former William Peace University classmates William Christy '17 (Academic Support Services Coordinator & Second Year Experience Coordinator at William Peace University) and Lexie Daniels '18 (Associate Director of the Independent College Fund of North Carolina & Assistant Director of Finance) recently teamed up to help current students explore their future career paths.

Lexie hosted a Sophomore Job Site Visit at the North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities (NCICU) office.

During the visit, our sophomore students were able to:
Network directly with Peace alumni.
Explore diverse career paths available with a Peace degree.
Learn the top skills today's job market demands from future college graduates.

The Peace Office of Advancement and the Peace Alumni Board hosted the Alumni Ice Cream Social on 8/21/26.

Peace alumni handed out ice cream 🍨from Two Roosters Ice Cream to students and other members of the Peace community.

The event was part of Pacer Welcome Week, a series of events to welcome students back to campus.
