Meredith College's Department of History and Political Science offers Bachelor of Arts majors in History, Political Science and International Studies as well as a program in Public History. Meredith's location in North Carolina's capital is ideal for history, political science and international studies majors. You'll be able to see state government in action, visit multiple historic sites and museums, and take advantage of educational opportunities at international businesses in nearby Research Triangle Park. We also offer hands-on learning opportunities like a Model United Nations team, and a student-led voter registration project each election year. Meredith College's Department of History, Political Science & International Studies offers Bachelor of Arts majors in History, Political Science and International Studies as well as a program in Public History. Each major can teach you valuable skills, especially how to apply historical and political analysis to understand and address the problems facing the world. Meredith's location in North Carolina's capital is ideal for history, political science and international studies majors. You'll be able to see state government in action, visit multiple historic sites and museums, and take advantage of educational opportunities at international businesses in nearby Research Triangle Park. We also offer hands-on learning opportunities like a Model United Nations team, a Moot Court team, internships, the Meredith Poll, the North Carolina Women’s Oral History Project, undergraduate research, and a student-led voter registration project each election year.
