⛳ Thank you to everyone who supported the 2026 County College of Morris President’s Golf Classic, hosted by the County College of Morris Foundation at Spring Brook Country Club! Alumni, friends, and community partners came together for a day of friendly competition and a shared commitment to making a difference. Together, we raised critical funds to support CCM Athletics, Foundation scholarships, and campus resources that help our students thrive. 🎓

CCM student-athlete and Jack Martin Scholarship recipient Ben Charles shared a powerful testimonial about the impact scholarship support has had on his education. We were also pleased to welcome back members of the CCM Hall of Fame, while members of our golf team teed off alongside participants and helped golfers navigate some tricky holes. 🏆

John “Harp” Harper, longtime sports columnist, television commentator and baseball insider, will be joining us at the County College of Morris President's Golf Classic on Monday, October 5th!

A New Jersey native, Harp’s career spans nearly five decades, from playing baseball at Parsippany Hills High School and the University of Bridgeport, to winning a national fast-pitch softball championship with the famed Raybestos Cardinals in 1983 and representing Team USA at the 1984 World Softball Championships.

He went on to cover the Mets and Yankees for the New York Post and Daily News before becoming a familiar face on SNY.

Last week, Kelly L. Meola and Casey Dolan represented the County College of Morris Foundation as one of the The Provident Bank Foundation grantees participating in a Day of Service at America's Grow-a-Row in Pittstown, NJ. Together, Provident Bank Foundation grantees harvested more than 11,000 pounds of tomatoes! 🍅

Some of the food harvested by our team, along with other fresh produce, was brought back to the Titan Farmer’s Market at County College of Morris and made available to students this past Wednesday. Two other dates for the Farmer's Market are scheduled for October and November, too.

We’re proud to not only have participated but see this effort come full circle - from harvesting fresh food in our community to making it available to CCM students and helping to address food insecurity on campus. A big thank you to Provident Bank Foundation for the opportunity to serve alongside fellow grantees and to America’s Grow-a-Row for the important work they do in the community.

Investing in the future of advanced manufacturing starts with investing in students. Thank you to the Howmet Aerospace Foundation for supporting County College of Morris and our Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering Center.

This generous funding will help us develop a new Metrology course and expand hands-on learning with industry-relevant equipment, giving students valuable skills for careers in advanced manufacturing and engineering.

When our community comes together, great things happen! Our County College of Morris Foundation team, along with County College of Morris employees, trustees, student athletes, state and local officials, and community members were proud to partner with Table of Hope NJ to help hundreds of Morris County families prepare for the school year.

Thanks to generous sponsors and dedicated volunteers, families received backpacks with school supplies along with fresh produce from Alstede Farms. We’re grateful to everyone who came together to support local families and help students start the school year ready to learn.
