Alright grads, time for the BIG post full of important information for Commencement on Friday!

North Idaho College will celebrate the Class of 2026 on Friday, May 15, at the Schuler Performing Arts Center in Boswell Hall at NIC's Coeur d'Alene campus.

Commencement ceremonies are split into two ceremonies:
• 10 a.m. - A.A. and A.S. programs (excluding Dual Credit students).
• 1 p.m. - Dual Credit, Health Professions and Career and Technical Education programs.

Graduate reminders:
• Per NIC tradition, graduates will walk down Garden Avenue to Boswell Hall before the ceremony (graduates should wear shoes they feel comfortable walking in).
• Graduates must check in at the Edminster Student Union Building one hour before their ceremony with a photo ID.
• Graduates do not need a ticket to enter the ceremony.
• Do not bring bags to the graduate walk.

Guest reminders:
• Guests may enter Schuler Performing Arts Center 30 minutes before each ceremony.
• Tickets are required for guest entry and are color coordinated by ceremony (red for the 10 a.m. and white for the 1 p.m.).
• Overflow seating will be available in Todd Lecture Hall inside Molstead Library (across the street from Boswell Hall). Tickets are not required to sit in the overflow seating.

Both commencement ceremonies will air live on CDA TV and on the North Idaho College YouTube channel, ➤youtube.com/northidahocollege.

Parking permits are NOT required on campus during the entire day of commencement. Guests are encouraged to park near Molstead Library and walk to Boswell Hall.

Following each ceremony, graduates and families are invited to a reception outside Boswell Hall hosted by the NIC Alumni Association.

Commencement is almost here, and ticket pickup is just around the corner!

Ticket pickup details: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., May 4, at Cardinal Central in the Bob and Leona DeArmond Building.

Parker Technical Education Center students can pick up tickets at the center’s front desk starting at the same date and time. After May 4, tickets will also be available at Cardinal Central on main campus during regular business hours.

Caps and gowns will be mailed directly to graduates from Jostens. For more information, email [email protected].
