🔬 Celebrating a Major Achievement in Chi University Research!

Chi University is proud to announce the publication of a new original research article in Biomedicines, an MDPI scientific journal with an Impact Factor of 4.5. This Chi University-funded research was led by Chi Master’s program graduate Dr. Kaixuan “Kelsey” Zou, who served as the article’s first and corresponding author.

The study investigated how diffuse large B-cell lymphoma cells respond to Nei-Xiao-Luo-Li-San (NXLLS), a traditional herbal formula. The findings identified potential molecular targets associated with this response and highlighted ATF5- and HDAC-associated epigenetic changes as areas for further research.

Congratulations to Dr. Kelsey Zou and fellow authors Dr. Jong Hyuk Kim, Dr. Sahana Arunasalam, Betty Yangari, and Dr. Deng-Shan Shiau on this significant milestone for Chi University research!

A modern version of NXLLS formula is called Max's Formula. We also want to thank Jing Tang Herbal for sponsoring this research.

Background: Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is the most common subtype of non-Hodgkin lymphoma in adults and is characterized by aggressive progression and substantial molecular and clinical heterogeneity. Despite advances in immunochemotherapy, a considerable proportion of patients develop re...
