Reedley College developed the Promise Scholars program to provide foster youth students with comprehensive support services that will support and contribute to their educational learning experience. The goal of that plan is provide foster youth with a sense of community on campus as well as provide access to college programs and resources that can lead to educational and career opportunities for f
uture self-sufficiency. The Promise Scholars program provides over and above services for foster youth on our campus. The supports include regular meetings with a Promise Scholars counselor, workshops designed to address specific needs of foster youth, exclusive access to tutors, and financial support in the form of meal cards, gas cards, textbook vouchers. One of the most significant features of Reedley College is the Residence Hall. The Residence Hall has 6 rooms/beds reserved specifically for foster youth on the Reedley College campus.
