Our Sacramento campus Vocational Nursing cohort has graduated! 🩺🎓💙
A word from Tara Marki, Nursing Educator:
"Our ceremony theme was “The Journey to the Pin,” celebrating the sacrifice, perseverance, compassion, and purpose that helped bring our students to this important milestone.
We also incorporated the history and traditions of nursing throughout the celebration. Our “Legacy of Nursing” display honored those who helped shape the nursing profession, while our “Lamp of Nursing” table represented the tradition of carrying the light of nursing forward to the next generation.
Sac 2 was my first cohort at Unitek College of Nursing, so watching these students reach this moment was especially meaningful to me. It has been a privilege to teach, mentor, encourage, transfer knowledge, and watch them grow throughout their nursing journey.
While I am especially proud of Sac 2, I am also incredibly proud of all the students across Unitek College of Nursing who continue to work hard, persevere through challenges, and pursue their goal of becoming nurses. Each cohort represents the future of nursing, and I am proud to play a role in preparing the next generation for this profession."
