In celebration of Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we are honored to welcome one of our own, Maizy Bear, RTC adjunct faculty member and artist, for an interactive gathering centered on storytelling, art, connection, and reclaiming identity.

Held on the second Monday of October, Indigenous Peoples’ Day honors the existence and resilience of indigenous peoples in the Americas. This day is dedicated to elevating indigenous narratives and perspectives, unlearning embedded history, and serving as a platform for action. To learn more about the indigenous lands that we reside in, visit Native-Land.ca.
