#1 Microsoft Office suite is free for all UTD students

UT Dallas students have access to the full suite of Microsoft 365 apps for free! This includes PowerPoint, Word, OneDrive and more!

#2 The New Student Technology Checklist

The New Student Technology checklist will ensure that your devices are ready for class. You can find a digital copy at utd.link/techcheck


#3 Free Adobe Creative Cloud in the Computer Labs

Any UTD student can access the Adobe Creative cloud for free in the computer labs. This will give you access to programs like Photoshop and Premiere Pro!

#4 Free Tech Help on Campus

All in person, OIT locations offer free walk-in tech support. This includes the TechKnowledgy Bar, Founders Lab, and Sonora Lab.


#5 Free E-Recycling at the TechKnowledgy Bar

If you have old chargers, broken electronics, or dead batteries, you can drop them off at the TechKnowledgy Bar for e-recycling.

A proud The University of Texas at Dallas alumna, Victoria holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and brings over two years of experience as a software developer. In her role, she will help support and improve the systems behind our learning technology ecosystem, contributing to the development, integrations, and enhancements that help power academic operations across campus.

Outside of work, Victoria enjoys reading and spending time with her husband, Josh, and goldendoodle puppy, Bella. 🐾

OIT was proud to hit the green for a great cause! For over 30 years, the UT Dallas Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament has helped fund life-changing scholarships and open doors for student success at The University of Texas at Dallas. This year, the tournament raised over $150,000 for scholarships!

We’re excited to welcome Sal Ghani to our Enterprise Cloud & Infrastructure Services team!

Sal brings 20+ years of experience across higher education IT, working with Linux and Windows systems and a wide range of technologies. Sal also volunteers with SCinet, helping build the advanced infrastructure behind the SuperComputing Conference. Outside of work, Sal enjoys photography, gaming, tinkering with microcontrollers, exploring DFW’s food scene, and cheering on the Steelers.

Known for being thoughtful, collaborative, and eager to jump in, Savyata is already a great addition to our team.

Outside of work, Savyata enjoys staying active through workouts, dancing, and yoga, and loves traveling whenever possible.
