The Mission of the Student Government is to ensure that UT Dallas is fully committed to serving the collective interests of the student body. In this capacity, we serve as the official student voice to UT Dallas administration, the UT System Board of Regents, and other governmental entities. The Student Government seeks to enhance spirit, protect University traditions, and support all students and student organizations in their academic and community-directed endeavors.

Congratulations to our January senator of the month, Rahma Arif!
Rahma has been an amazing committee member since her very first day on the DEB committee. She has shown initiative not only through her words but also through her actions. Furthermore, she has been a great help to the committee and all of SG through her service on the University-Wide Accessibility Committee.

Congratulations to our November/December senator of the month, Griffin Davis! Griffin has been an excellent senator since the first day he joined. He has been a major advocate to local government to increase student-aimed housing, attending city council meetings and speaking in the best interest of our university and our constituents. His ideas, work ethic, and character have been a major addition to our Legislative Affairs Committee. Furthermore, he has been an incredible leader in the Budget Breakdown Taskforce.
