For 20 years, Meridian Sun Lodge #69 and the Richfield Sons of AMVETS Post 176 have been proud to partner in hosting the annual Steak Fry. What began as a shared effort grew into a cherished tradition that brought together members, families, friends, and neighbors for an evening of great food, fellowship, and community.

Thanks to the dedication of countless volunteers, the generosity of sponsors, and the loyal support of everyone who attended, the Steak Fry became much more than an annual gathering. Over the years, the proceeds from this event helped provide dozens of scholarships to graduating seniors from Revere High School, supporting local students as they pursued their education and future goals. That lasting impact is something both of our organizations are especially proud of.

After many thoughtful conversations, Meridian Sun Lodge #69 and the Richfield Sons of AMVETS Post 176 have jointly made the difficult decision to conclude the annual Steak Fry. While this tradition is coming to an end, we do so with tremendous gratitude for the more than two decades of friendships, laughter, and shared experiences that made the event so special.

We sincerely thank every volunteer, sponsor, attendee, and supporter who helped make the Steak Fry a success year after year. Most importantly, we thank one another for over 20 years of partnership, cooperation, and friendship. Working together has been an honor, and we are proud of everything we accomplished together.

Although the Steak Fry has reached its final chapter, the legacy of this event will live on through the lives it touched, the scholarships it made possible, and the memories shared by so many in our community.

On behalf of Meridian Sun Lodge #69 F&AM and the Richfield Sons of AMVETS Post 176, thank you for your continued support throughout the years. We are grateful to have shared this tradition with you and to have made a positive difference in the lives of so many Revere graduates and their families.

Since 1993, Meridian Sun Lodge #69 F&AM has been honored to organize the Richfield Community Day Parade. What began as a way to bring neighbors together has grown into a tradition that has celebrated our community, local organizations, businesses, schools, first responders, and the many volunteers who make Richfield such a special place.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of the Richfield community. We extend our sincere thanks to every volunteer, participant, sponsor, public official, safety personnel, and spectator who has helped make the parade a success year after year. Your enthusiasm and generosity have made this event something we have been proud to present.

After careful consideration, Meridian Sun Lodge #69 F&AM has made the difficult decision to step away from organizing the Richfield Community Day Parade. While this chapter is coming to a close for our lodge, we remain grateful for the opportunity to have served the community through this event for more than three decades.

We are proud of the memories created, the friendships formed, and the tradition we were privileged to help carry forward. We hope the spirit of community that has always defined the parade will continue for many years to come.

On behalf of the officers and members of Meridian Sun Lodge #69, thank you, Richfield, for your unwavering support, your trust, and the opportunity to be part of one of our community’s most cherished traditions. It has truly been our privilege to serve.

What happens to a loved one’s Masonic belongings after they pass away?

If your family has inherited Masonic books, aprons, pins, medals, certificates, photographs, or other memorabilia, you don't have to figure out what to do with everything on your own.

If a family member wants to keep an item, we encourage you to do so. These pieces can be meaningful reminders of a loved one's life and Masonic service.

If no one in the family wishes to keep the items, they can be returned to Meridian Sun Lodge. We can help determine what should be preserved, returned, or otherwise handled appropriately.

Please pay special attention to books or materials marked “Property of Grand Lodge of Ohio.” These should be brought to Meridian Sun so they can be properly returned to the Grand Lodge of Ohio.

Before throwing away Masonic materials, please contact the lodge. Something that may seem insignificant could be an important piece of Masonic or family history.

Meridian Sun Lodge and the Ohio Neuroendocrine Tumor Society would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Richfield community, our neighboring communities, and the incredible car enthusiast community for making this year's Show on the Square our biggest and best event yet!

One of the highlights of the day was hearing everyone share stories about the vehicles they own today and the ones that hold special memories from years past. It was wonderful to see so many smiles, make new friends, and celebrate our shared passion for automobiles.

One comment we heard again and again was how much people appreciated the incredible variety of vehicles on display. From classics and muscle cars to imports, trucks, and modern performance vehicles, there truly was something for everyone.

Thank you to everyone who attended, exhibited, volunteered, and supported the event. We can't wait to see you all again next year!
