Students are invited to choose a journal from our collection and personalize it using colorful tapes, markers, stickers, scrapbook paper, and a variety of other creative supplies.
Whether you use your journal to organize class assignments, capture your thoughts, sketch ideas, write poetry, or simply reflect on your day, this is a space to express yourself in a way that feels authentic. Inspired by the Hobonichi Method, this event encourages a flexible approach to journaling by combining planning, reflection, and creativity in one place. Fill your pages with schedules, sketches, memories, notes, or anything that helps tell your story. Journaling can be a great tool for staying organized, practicing mindfulness, and finding a healthy balance between academic responsibilities and life outside the classroom.
No artistic experience is required—just bring your creativity and leave with a journal that inspires you to keep writing, planning, and expressing yourself throughout the semester.
