Well to report on this triennial. I left Pasco airport at 6:00 AM on August 29th and due to weather in Salt Lake City arrived about 5:15 PM at Washington DC. I decided not to take the Metro and called for a Lyft while waiting curbside I was approached by a California Mason, a nice young man named Tim and we talked about going to the Hilton, so I offered to share my ride and we had a good conversation. After arriving at the Capital Hilton I checked and got my registration started. I then went and had a fine meal at Subway with Bryan the editor of the Focus and John the current Grand High Priest. Upon returning to the hotel we all participated in some capitular education with many others. The first day was done and I retired to the room which I shared with Rabi another well know mason from Washington. The next day a few of us visited the House of the Temple and got our pictures with Grand Commander Cole. The rest of this day was spent exploring DC completing day 2. Following this we all attended the chapter meeting where some notable things happened Legislation passed upping the General Grand Chapter dues be 2 additional dollars, other attempted legislation failed. Then Reed Fanning of Utah lost Grand King to Piers Vaughn. Notable appointees Ronny Aasterud out of Montana is the new NW Deputy and Rabi is the new ambassador for Washington, day 3 completed. The 4th and final day went as expected W. Keith Powell was elected to take leadership with no legislation presented. Richard Roblee was named NW Deputy for General Grand Council. RIC Dave S.
