Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) Honors Program Interested in EKU's Honors Program? This page is for you! Students take honors program classes that replace some or all of EKU's general education curriculum.

Founded in 1988, the EKU Honors Program makes the best intellectual resources at EKU available to a limited group of talented and motivated students. Each year, more students from the EKU Honors Program present at the annual meeting of the National Collegiate Honors Council than do students from any other honors program in the nation. Living in the centrally located Burnam Hall and attending numerous cultural activities together, EKU Honors students form a tight honors community and make friends that last a lifetime.

Maizy brought along her sister Osa for Monday's dog walk at Elmwood with a longtime friend of hers--EKU Honors senior Annamarie Seamans (a Medical Lab Science Pre-Med student from Lexington, KY). Annamarie has been one of our most active honors students throughout her time with us, presenting at six of the seven Kentucky Honors Roundtable conferences that have happened so far during her years at EKU. She also presented at NCHC last fall in San Diego, and will be doing so again at next month's NCHC in New Orleans. Super proud of all that you are accomplishing Annamarie!
