Jepson School professor Dr. Jessica Flanigan co-edited "The Philosophy of Taylor Swift" with fellow philosophers Lindsay Brainard and Ryan W. Davis. Published this month with Oxford Academic (Oxford University Press), the book gathers 22 original essays, including two by Flanigan, that illuminate the philosophical richness of Swift's catalogue.

Out this month, a special issue of the Interdisciplinary Journal of Leadership Studies focuses on the theme "Leadership in Crisis: Religious Authority in Uncertain Times." Dr. Lauren Henley edited this issue and contributed an article about the perception of Black preachers in the American South during the 1909-1912 axman muders. Three Jepson School folks were among those honored last week by the University of Richmond-Bonner Center for Civic Engagement at its annual Engage for Change ceremony. Assistant professor of Lauren Henley and Jepson alum and Bon Secours senior program manager for community impact Kerrissa MacPherson received community-engaged teaching awards. Jepson School administrative coordinator Linda Trent received the Bill Coleman Award for supporting student engagement in the community. 👏👏👏
