Brother Jason Alleyne Jr. had the pleasure of visiting Fairfield Elementary School, where he read to students in grades 3–5 and spent time getting to know the young scholars

Beyond reading, he had the chance to connect with the students, hear their thoughts, and have conversations that made the visit even more meaningful. It’s moments like these that allow us to build genuine connections with the next generation while staying true to our aims.

Yesterday, The Theta Rho Alphas alongside Theta Rho AKAs kicked off Breast Cancer Awareness Month, spreading awareness and encouraging our campus community to stay informed.

As we begin this month, we recognize the importance of education, early detection, and standing together in support of those affected by breast cancer.

This Ice Cold Tuesday, we took a moment to spread a little positivity across campus by passing out flowers and connecting with students about the importance of mental health and wellness.

We asked members of our campus community to share some of the ways they protect their peace, maintain a positive mental state, and prioritize their overall well-being. Sometimes, a simple conversation, a kind gesture, or even a flower can be a reminder to check in with yourself and those around you.

Mental wellness matters. Take care of yourself, check on your people, and never underestimate the impact of showing someone a little kindness. πŸ–€πŸ’›

Brother Alleyne Jr. had the opportunity to volunteer with Feed More during the Divine Nine Challenge Kick-Off in Richmond.

Throughout the event, Brother Alleyne assisted with setup and event operations, supported attendees, helped maintain an organized and welcoming environment, and contributed to closing responsibilities at the end of the evening alongside fellow VCU NPHC members.

It was a meaningful opportunity to serve the Richmond community while supporting Feed More at the same time.
