From across the region to our nation’s capitol, our sisters showed the power of collective action and what it means to "Champion Service, Empower Sisterhood, and Transform the World."

We honor the legacy of those who bravely marched before us as we continue the work that moves our communities forward.

Xi Upsilon Omega Chapter brought together AKA sisters, AKA Chapter Presidents from across NC and VA, the 11th Mid-Atlantic Regional Director, the 20th Mid-Atlantic Regional Director, local and state officials, the Fredericksburg, VA President and local D9 members of the National Pan Hellenic Council, the 17th National President of The Links, Incorporated, Fredericksburg VA Chapter representatives of The Links, Incorporated and Jack and Jill of America along with family and friends to celebrate a "Genuine Champion of Sisterly Service," our Regional Director — the love and support in the room said it all! It was definitely a day to remember as the Mayor of Fredericksburg declared that August 22, 2026 was "21st Mid-Atlantic Regional Director, Tracey D. Watkins, Appreciation Day."
