The MT Design School, conveniently located in the heart of downtown Richmond, Virginia offers over 35 years of fashion industry & design experience to tomorrow’s creative professionals. Courses are intended for various ages and levels of experience. Design and art courses are offered as a means of exploring the innovative and creative aspects of fashion designing; principles of art and design, fashion sketching, pattern drafting, 3-D draping and Computer Aid Design (CAD). Software for design and production apparel courses develop the technical skills of the craft. Students are encouraged to explore all avenues for a balanced perspective. However, everyone is welcome to pursue courses that best serve their interests.
