Eighteen brothers will spend 10 days in Greece next summer. One of them could be you.

Tragos Quest to Greece takes SigEps to the places where Greek philosophy began, then asks what those ideas mean for their own lives. Last year, five chapters sent a scholar for the first time. You don’t need to be perfect. You need an honest answer to why you want to go.

The program exists because Past Grand President Bill Tragos and his late wife, Lilli, believed in it. Donors cover most of the cost for every scholar selected.

Applications close October 18. https://sigep.org/the-sigep-experience/events/tragos-quest-to-greece/

3,086 men have joined SigEp this fall. Where does your conference rank? 🏆

The SEC leads with 649 new members and finished on its combined goal exactly. The Pac-12 is the only conference in the top six that has passed its goal, and it did it with six chapters. Mississippi State leads every chapter in the country at 81.

151 of our 187 chapters have now reported. If your chapter isn’t on this board, here’s what to do:

Finished formal fall recruitment? Report your new members so your chapter gets counted.

Didn’t hit your goal? Recruitment doesn’t stop when formal ends. Informal runs year round, and every man you sign still counts.

Rush hasn’t started yet? Start generating leads now. The chapters on this board didn’t find those men in rush week.

Conferences are grouped by football affiliation. Schools without football are listed in their primary conference.

The hotel rate for Life After College ends Oct. 22. Lock it in now.

Life After College is a free, one-day career program for SigEp undergrads on Saturday, Nov. 7, in downtown Indianapolis. You’ll spend the day with SigEp alumni and brothers from across the country, building the skills employers look for, from managing money to navigating office culture.

Every undergrad builds his own day from breakout sessions across five areas. Graduating seniors can join a dedicated Senior Experience focused on their first job, their first offer and a plan for their first 12 months after graduation. Spots are limited.

Registration is free thanks to SigEp Educational Foundation donors. Book the host hotel at $159 a night by Oct. 22, and ask your chapter about using its CIF to cover the cost.

He was shucking oysters to stay in college. He retired running Macy’s.

Terry Lundgren joined SigEp at Arizona, let his grades slide, and got cut off by his dad. He worked full time to finish school and never left his chapter.

Hear how he went from that phone call to the top of retail on the new Built to Win with Seth Irby. Out now! https://youtu.be/ZoWj1ZwOBvg?si=-ZFiDkgL5sCYsSJY

SigEp chapters offered $376,750 in Balanced Man Scholarships this fall.

The Balanced Man Scholarship rewards incoming men who lead in the classroom, in their communities, and in their own lives. You don’t have to join SigEp to apply or to win.

The scholarship isn’t over. $77,100 is still open at 22 campuses, and more chapters open applications this spring.

Check if your campus is still offering the Balanced Man Scholarship. Link in bio.

Brothers initiated decades apart filled one room at UConn to celebrate 125 years of SigEp.

Connecticut Alpha brought undergrads and alumni together for its 125th Anniversary Celebration. The chapter recognized alumni who have given years to Connecticut Alpha, an alumnus played a live set, and everyone gathered around the flag and a Keeping the Promise cake.

SigEp was founded in 1901 on a promise to build balanced men. At UConn, you can see that promise in one photo: a new member standing next to a brother who joined years before him.

Your chapter can host one too. The link in our bio has the resources to plan your own 125th Anniversary Celebration.

These 6 SigEp colonies set a combined goal of 131 new members this fall. They recruited 159.

A colony is a chapter working toward its charter. Recruiting the right men, and enough of them, is one of the biggest steps on that path. East Carolina brought in 20 against a goal of 12. Chico State and Florida Atlantic each recruited 46 in their first semester back. Texas-Arlington and Texas State both beat their goals, and Quinnipiac hit its number exactly.

So which one charters first? Drop your pick in the comments. 👇

We stopped pledging 35 years ago. Undergraduates made that call.

Pledging creates two classes of men. Hazing lives in the gap between them. The Balanced Man Program closes it: full membership from day one.

Hazing Prevention Week ends today. The work doesn’t. Swipe for the story.

Nebraska Alpha had a goal of 40 new members this fall. They signed 49.

Nebraska Alpha is one of the chapters we’re watching this fall. Congrats to the chapter for continuing to be the largest and best on their campus.
