This is what Westhampton Green will look like in exactly two weeks!

As part of University of Richmond Weeks of Welcome, Cirque Kikasse: SANTÉ! brings the magic of the circus right to campus. Students can catch the high-flying shows after classes and campus and community members are welcome to bring the whole family.

Free, tickets not required. Attendees are welcome to bring blankets, seat cushions, or chairs. Food and craft beer will be available for purchase, and UR students receive one free food item and drink!

Our Modlin Arts Presents series celebrates 30 years this season. To mark the occasion and provide something tangible and complimentary for our patrons, we brought the brilliant Brent Mccormick into the fold.

Inspired by Reid Miles and the typography-led language of classic Blue Note covers, Brent built our commemorative season poster around a bold 30. When decision time arrived, our team had the impossible task of selecting a colorway—red and deep navy or the tri-color design, as seen here. Why not both? To make good use of the finalists, we’ve opted to keep the red poster version of this design as a Modlin Arts Presents event exclusive.

As you make your way out after a Modlin Arts Presents performance this year, be sure to pick up your red 30th anniversary season poster. We encourage you to share a photo on Facebook of how you end up displaying the poster. Be sure to tag us!

Patrick Page is coming to the University of Richmond! Staff from around campus—ranging from Richmond Law to University Communications—got the chance to ask him a few questions ahead of his Modlin performances.  
 
You may know Patrick Page from Hadestown, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, or The Grinch, to name a few. This time next week, he’ll be moving swiftly through Shakespeare’s canon in a one-man show called “All the Devils Are Here: How Shakespeare Invented the Villain.” Tickets are open to the public and available with the link in our bio.

The Department of Theatre & Dance at the University of Richmond invites you to A Conversation with Paul Tazewell, the acclaimed Oscar-winning costume designer for WICKED The Musical, Emmy Award winner for The Wiz Live, and Tony Award winner for Hamilton kicking off this year’s Tucker-Boatwright Festival of Literature & the Arts.

Paul Tazewell will be in conversation with Johann Stegmeir, offering an intimate look at his creative process and his extraordinary approach to crafting the iconic visual narratives that define productions such as Wicked and Hamilton.
