Michael Kiefer, Ph.D., assistant professor in VCU Physical Therapy - College of Health Professions, joined fellow VCU researchers in Washington, D.C., for the 14th annual Rally for Medical Research.

The researchers met with five congressional offices and conveyed a message to lawmakers and congressional staffers about the importance of NIH funding for biomedical innovation and the country’s future STEM workforce.
