What started as a fun project in a museum studies course last fall has since evolved into an extraordinary exhibit...

Last month, Karine Nguyen, '26, celebrated the opening of "IN/BETWEEN: WITHIN/OUTSIDE," an exhibition she co-curated with Malena Lo Prete, '26, and Paige Pryor, '26, at our Joel and Lila Harnett Museum of Art!

"IN/BETWEEN: WITHIN/OUTSIDE" brings together artists who explore how identity is shaped through encounters with censorship. Featuring works from the museum's extensive collection by Judy Chicago, Kara Walker, Gordon Parks, Fred Wilson, Shahzia Sikander, and others, the show foregrounds censorship's ambiguity and its ability to create space for resistance, revision, and self-definition.
