My favorite activity is honestly watching sunsets and just enjoying nature to the fullest, even if just sitting in the grass or watching a sunset view. 🌇
Who inspires you:
The person who inspires me the most is my parents because they have worked so hard to give my brother and me everything possible. Even when life got hard, they showed up to every event, award ceremony, or school event always. They taught me to always show up and be present and that has helped me succeed in my career. 👨👩👧👦
What have you discovered about yourself during your time at UCR?
UCR allowed me to discover my confidence, but also what I want to be in the future. There were so many course options at the university that I really had time to take courses and explore what I want to become, and I think that made me discover that I’m capable of doing so many things.
Advice for current CHASS students:
I think getting involved in organizations and clubs since there are so many ways to connect with others revolving CHASS students. Always make sure to take advantage of the resources that CHASS has to offer, they are there to prioritize you. 🙂
Post-grad plans:
Work as a Behavioral Technician and apply to my master's program for behavior analysis. So in the future, I can become a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst.
