We are grateful for all the experiences shared and proud of the curiosity, enthusiasm, and respect our students demonstrated throughout their adventure.

Our next English adventure took us to St. Andrew’s Church in Bemerton, the parish church of celebrated poet-priest George Herbert. Known for writing some of the greatest devotional works in English literature, Herbert served and worshipped in this humble church nearly 400 years ago.

Our group explored the small interior where Herbert preached and prayed, gaining a deeper appreciation for the life and work of one of England’s most beloved literary figures. Sometimes the most modest places hold the most extraordinary stories.
