Ten years later, they're back where it all began! It was a joy to welcome the VTCSOM Class of 2016 back to Roanoke to reconnect, reflect, and celebrate a decade of making a difference in medicine. Over the years, they've grown not only as physicians, but as leaders, mentors, partners, and parents, building lives and families along the way. Congrats on all of your success, and Let's Go Hokie Docs! 💕👏

Today at Virginia Tech’s Alumni Weekend, 3rd-year VTCSOM students Austin Fitzgerald and Sophia Roche took the stage for the Cornerstone and 50th Alumni Programming.

They shared a look into "Life as a Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine Student" with VT alumni from the Classes of 1976 and earlier. We love seeing our future doctors connect with the foundational generations of Hokie Nation!

Amazing news for Virginia Tech!!

Virginia Tech has received its largest commitment ever. 🙌

The unprecedented, $75 million in support will advance the university’s ambitious athletics strategy and expand one of its most innovative academic programs.

A majority of the commitment, made anonymously by a four-generation Hokie family, was to Virginia Tech Athletics, while a sizeable portion was directed to the Honors College.

The athletic portion includes philanthropy for the Invest to Win initiative to ensure Hokie competitiveness in today’s rapidly changing collegiate athletics environment; unrestricted funds to be used at the discretion of the university’s athletic director; and additional support to be administered through the new Hokie Ventures entity.
