Meet Rebekah, one of our Dental Hygiene Class of 2026 Graduates! 🦷

1. What made you choose a career in Dental Healthcare?
I chose a career in dental healthcare because I am passionate about helping people and knew I wanted to do so in an environment where I could work one on one with someone. I love going to the dentist but never understood everything that was going on, so I was really interested in learning more.

2. What is your favorite memory from your time in the program?
My favorite memories from my time in the program are making friends with my fellow classmates and experiencing how rewarding it is to hold up the mirror to my patient at the end of the cleaning and see their face light up.

3. What advice would you give to incoming students?
My advice to incoming students is to breathe, slow down, and take things day by day. It’s easy to get overwhelmed while in this program, so just take each day as it comes. If you can walk away from each day knowing you tried your best, that is enough.

4. What are your plans after graduation?
After graduation, I plan to work full time at a small, general practice.

Hats off to you, graduate! πŸŽ“βœ¨ The future is yours!
