Eight graduate students shared their work at a Research Showcase this Saturday. Students participating in the event included Melissa Coyle, Samantha Stolzenburg, MC Lopez, Connor Groene, and Alex Boucher. They presented their research in a public poster session, followed by presentations of their Graduate Capstone Research Projects in an open session at Nazareth.

Guitar faculty member Django Klumpp recently won third prize in the 9th Elias Barreiro Young Artists Competition, hosted by the New Orleans International Guitar Festival. The fifth annual Women in Music Festival came to a wonderful close today with a beautiful concert hosted by WXXI and the Hochstein School of Music.

Many thanks to SOM faculty Koki Tanaka, E-Na Song, Yi-Wen Chang, Ryan Hardcastle, and Eastman faculty member Brock Tjosvold for their performances. This past weekend, students and faculty also performed at the Conservatory of the George Eastman Museum.
