We are excited to announce that the NIEHS P30 grant that supports our Environmental Health Sciences Center was successfully renewed for another 5 years, spanning years 51-55. This is one of the longest standing grants at University of Rochester. 🎉

The EHSC engages scientists from 19 departments for innovative research on preventing and lessening diseases caused or exacerbated by environmental factors.

It’s official! University of Rochester has announced the formation of the Department of Environmental Medicine and Public Health Sciences, which unites biomedical toxicology and population-level environmental and public health. 📣

The new department combines nationally recognized strengths in toxicology, epidemiology, policy, and community health research and will build upon decades of leadership in environmental health, prevention science, and community engagement.
