These photos, separated by decades, showcase students learning the art and science of media production. In the earlier image, students work with a large-format film camera and flash equipment. In the more recent image, a student operates professional studio equipment in a modern television production setting.

While the cameras, tools, and technology have transformed dramatically, one thing hasn't changed: students learning by doing.
