Dare to be Rare! What is Student Life Team? Student Life Team (SLT) is a professional service focused on college students.

SLT centers around three main categories:

[1] Support and serve Deaf and Hard of Hearing students of all year levels at RIT. Not only that, we also support organizations such as ALANA, and clubs.

[2] Provide an environment where students can learn, grow, and understand themselves and the community.

[3] Develop partnerships, a network, and collaborations across RIT campus and with the community for the purpose of providing the best resources to our students.

Cheers to summer ☀️ good vibes, good people, and even better memories were made.

[Transcript:

I enjoyed this event because I got to socialize with people and got to enjoy some great food from the food trucks.

In the opinion, the event was great because I enjoyed the four squares and the food that was provided. It gave me a nice break from finals and was very relaxing.

I really enjoyed the event. I missed seeing people socializing and tie-dye shirts. I haven't done it in a long time. I missed it.]

It’s time for Friday Reels again!
We asked RIT students about their summer plans.

Image Description:

SLT Staff: As the summer is approaching closer and closer, I’m going to ask students what their summer plans are. For me, I’ll work on campus and travel during the weekends.

Student 1: My summer plan is working at a co-op for mechanical engineering.

Student 2: My summer plan is to stay at home, watch movies, chill, and enjoy my personal time.

Student 3: I plan to travel the world in Europe.

Student 4: My summer plans are working at a co-op at Los Alamos National Lab.

Student 5: I plan to go back home to the Philippines.

The screen transitions into a bright, beach-themed graphic with a blue sky background and simple clouds. At the bottom, there is a sandy shore and ocean water. Large, bold white text with a black outline is centered on the screen and reads: “WHAT ABOUT YOU? COMMENT DOWN BELOW!” Two large white arrows at the bottom point downward toward the sand, encouraging interaction.

Finish strong, we’re rooting for you!! 🐾🐅

Image Description:

A graphic of torn notebook paper placed on a wooden desk background. The paper has a light grid pattern and rough, ripped edges. In bold green handwritten-style text, it reads “Good luck on final exam.” In the top right corner, a red “100” mark is drawn. Below the main text, a blue checkmark box appears next to the phrase “You got this!” in a casual handwritten font.
