Thank you to everyone who came out today! Even though the weather did not cooperate well (did we expect anything less from Rochester!) we had a great event! Hope you all enjoyed and we want to give a special thanks to the Kelly, Kay, Bri, the Southside RAs, After Hours, NJR and WRUR!

Due to Rochester weather Southside Outside became Southside Inside! We will still have all the fun games, but just go inside Valentine or DeKiewitt!

Good Morning Southside! Today is the day...Southside Outside!!! Come on out from 2-5 today in the courtyard for games, food and prizes! Plus we are raffling off a long board and a bluetooth speaker!

Suggestion Box
• Stop Smoking in the stairs!
---Although this was put in the suggestion box, it is also a good reminder for residents. It is against school policy to smoke inside and anywhere within a 30ft of the any campus building. Note that the back of the buildings or just off the stairs of each building does NOT qualify as 30 ft. There ARE consequences if you violate this policy.

Suggestion box:
• Silver Line on Weekends
---Unfortunately due the the expenses needed for running the bus and having the employees work, we cannot have the bus run the weekends or between 12-4 weekdays
• Printer at Southside
---Although a very good idea, the printing services are controlled by the Event and Classroom management and they do not service to residential halls
• Snow Shovel
---Great idea! We are looking into a snow shovel now and will let you guys know if we have one
• Whoever came up with this suggestion box ideas AWESOME!! Please host more free food events!
---Thank you for your feedback! And we will have more free food events to so keep your eye and ears open
• Open service desk longer
---As previously stated under another suggestion, this is not possible because RMI has to regulate the items that are given out at that time

Suggestion Box Updates
• Keep doors unlocked
----Unfortunately, for safety reasons, we need to keep the doors locked at all times. Making the doors swipe only is one of the best way to keep residents and their belongs safe.
• Put some cameras up in the "lobby area." -concerned for safety
----We asked public safety and this is definitely something we will be looking into further. We will keep you updated!
• Southside ATM
-----We did address this in a past suggestion box... Unfortunately it is incredibly difficult to get approved for this, and we have tried in the past and got denied. Sorry.
• Bathroom in basement
----Because of the plumbing that would be needed, it is unlikely we would get this project done in the short term, however we can ask RMI to see if it is feasible in the future
• recycling bin for cardboard
----You can recycle cardboard in the basements of each building
• Recycling bins on each floor
----We don't have enough space in the garbage shoot for each floor to have recycling however there is recycling locations in the basement of each building
• Grill!!!
---- We are currently in the process of getting a grill. We hope to have one available for residents by the time the snow is gone (for the season)!

Suggestion Box updates
• You guys should leave out some toilet paper! or give it out more often Thanks,
----We have looked into this and it turns out that the toilet paper distribution has to be regulated by RMI to manage the pulbming in the buildings. As a result, the only time it can be handed out is during service desk hours. Remember though that you and you roommate(s) can get them!

• Buses to animal shelter for volunteering
----We cannot get you buses however if this is a campus based organization, you can apply to get a university van for your organization to use. You can get more info at the Common Connections (Wilson Commons)

• Skiing trip!
----Next semester there actually are skiing tripping being offered every weekend until spring break by one of our on campus clubs. If you would like we can look into sponsoring some Southside residence to go if there is enough interest! Feel free to message the page if you are interested!

• Sponsored event @ Ronald McDonald House
-----That is a great idea! We can definitely look into that for next semester!

• Grill in courtyard
-----We are working on that in the spring! No worries!

• We should have an ATM here. yay :)
