and Tony Zanni’s Typography II class just finished their final project! Students were tasked to create a typeface for a city then create a keychain of a chosen letter. We were all super impressed with the results!

This week, Steve Matteson, RIT’s Cary Professor and the mind behind some of the world’s most recognizable typefaces, visited Lorrie Frear and Tony Zanni’s Typography II classes. Students in Matteson’s Typography III class brought the energy with stunning multi-lingual poster work, proving that type is one of design’s most powerful tools.

Photos from the Freshman Portfolio Book Show! Created last semester in Tools and Techniques (GRDE-101), graphic design freshman as well as non-GD majors collected their works from the fall semester and designed, printed and bound a conceptual portfolio book.
