About 1800 students are enrolled annually in more than 100 MCSHS programs representing 55 health sciences careers. We are excited to share that our inaugural CST to SFA Bridge program students graduated last Thursday!🎉🎉

The CST to SFA Bridge Program provides a unique, flexible pathway for surgical technologists to become surgical assistants. Curriculum includes three months of classroom and lab education in a hybrid model, and six months of clinical experience, which allows you to start your career more quickly. The program was designed to allow CSTs to continue working while going to school to alleviate some financial burden of advancing careers.

In total, 44 graduates were recognized for completing their clinical education requirements at Mayo Clinic Rochester or a Mayo Clinic Health System site. Our class represents the following NP population of foci:

✅7 Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner

✅4 Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner
