⭐ Meet Miguel!

Miguel is a finance major graduating in Fall 2027 and is currently gaining year-round experience at FORVIA in corporate finance with a concentration in tax.

In his internship, Miguel is putting his Excel skills to work through fixed asset reconciliation and international tax projects, including computing book income and tax expenses and assisting with tax forms.

His favorite part so far? The people. “My team has been nothing short of amazing ever since bringing me in!”

✨ Adviser Spotlight: Meet Amy DeSantis, Academic Adviser in the School of Business!

Amy has been part of the OU community since 2023 and is also a two-time OU alumna. What she enjoys most about advising is partnering with students to create degree plans that help them reach their goals.

Her advice to students? Take advantage of the Academic Success Center, join a study group and attend your instructor’s office hours. This is your time, so use it wisely!

Fun fact: Amy loves spending time in her garden and getting crafty with scrapbooking and crochet.

⭐ Hannah is a Human Resources Management junior who interned with Global Automation Technologies, LLC.

During her internship, she visited FANUC headquarters and got a firsthand look at automotive automation technology, gaining insight into the people, operations and innovation behind the industry. Hannah hopes to pursue a career in talent acquisition within the automotive field.

Her biggest advice? Take advantage of internships, networking events and company visits to explore your career path and grow professionally.
