Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia - Winthrop University, Nu Kappa Chapter

Nu Kappa Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha has been at Winthrop since 1985, when the Chapter first began. We mold men into manly musicians and musicianly men.

For interested men, we do not judge by past deeds or what you believe in. We help men find themselves and become greater men than they were before. Do not be discouraged if you do not know how to sing or are not comfortable with performing, as we will teach you how to. It's time for the annual Bruce Thompson Concerto Competition! Submit a video of you playing a concerto of your choice (written to be accompanied by a wind ensemble) to have a chance to perform with the Winthrop Wind Symphony! Submissions are due on March 16, 2024. Registration for the contest and a link to pay the $10 fee are both on the flyer above.
