After more than a century of being known by various names, the state-of-the-art Trinity College of Nursing and Health Sciences was created in 2000. The college, which is adjacent to UnityPoint Health - Trinity in Rock Island, provides educational space for the approximate 250 students enrolled in six academic programs. d hospital simulation rooms in the Harriet Olson Learning Lab. Excellent clinical opportunities are found throughout UnityPoint Health - Trinity, where many faculty members practice in their specialty fields.

Trinity College of Nursing & Health Sciences will hold its first commencement and pinning ceremony as an affiliate of Augustana College - Illinois on Aug. 26, recognizing 25 graduates earning the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.

The ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. in Centennial Hall on Augustana’s campus, 3703 Seventh Ave., Rock Island.

We are proud to officially become part of the Augustana College - Illinois community. Together, we will build on Trinity's strong legacy while expanding our role in preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals.

The integration process will continue over the next 24–36 months and will be completed following final approval from the U.S. Department of Education.

Friday, 01-23-26, Trinity College will be closed due to weather. All college classes, clinic site visits, and labs are cancelled. Student Services will be offered remotely. Students can access the college with a badge at their own risk.
