A motorist struck the outdoor digital pedestal sign for the campus at the Parkview Avenue entrance this morning. Fortunately, no injuries were reported; however damage to the sign will likely require removing and replacing the sign. Please avoid the sidewalk area in front of the sign until it's safely removed.

The College of Pharmacy has a new name!

We are excited to share the University of Illinois Chicago College of Pharmacy will become the Herbert M. and Carol H. Retzky College of Pharmacy. University of Illinois Board of Trustees approved the new name on July 11, and it honors the Retzkys’ legacy and long-term, substantial commitment to the college.

The College will formally celebrate the Retzkys and their legacy on September 13, 2024, one day after the 165th anniversary of our founding. Please stay tuned for more information about how you can celebrate with us on that day.

In preparation for the active shooter drill that’ll occur on the UIC Health Sciences Campus-Rockford on Thursday, Oct. 19, all medicine, nursing, pharmacy and MBT students, staff and faculty are strongly encouraged to attend one of three in-person training sessions.
The sessions, presented by the Rockford Police Department, will take place at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. or 1 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 11 in the Robert J. Vickrey MD Auditorium (E207) at UIC Health Sciences Campus-Rockford.

Join us for an evening to support the Medical Evaluation Response Initiative Team (MERIT) and the children they serve. Enjoy cocktails, a seated dinner and silent auction to benefit MERIT, a community-based program providing children suspected of being abused or neglected with timely, expert medical evaluations and treatment.
