The Social Work Club was truly honored to volunteer at the Hope In Motion event for the Tommy Corral Memorial Foundation last month. It was a meaningful evening filled with community, compassion, remembrance, and HOPE.
As social work students, we know how important it is to create spaces where people feel seen, heard, supported, and valued. Su***de prevention and mental health care are not just conversations for times of crisis—they are ongoing commitments to building stronger, healthier, and more connected communities.
💙 Asking for help is a sign of strength.
💙 Listening can make a difference.
💙 Mental health care saves lives.
💙 No one should have to face their struggles alone.
We are grateful to the Tommy Corral Memorial Foundation for the opportunity to serve alongside so many individuals who are committed to spreading awareness, reducing stigma, supporting mental wellness, and bringing hope to others.
Thank you for allowing our Social Work Club to be part of such an important event. Together, we can continue moving toward a community where reaching out for help is encouraged, mental health care is accessible, and hope is always in motion.
