A few houses away from Bloom Elementary School (playground for kids and large fields for Frisbee, soccer, etc.)

Why: To have fun, eat Wisconsin famous “beer-battered” brats, burgers, veggie burgers, chips, desserts, etc, and enjoy some good camaraderie

Come have dinner together to celebrate the end of the year and
Dr. Ward heading off to new adventures at Michigan State!

The 2013 in is awarded jointly to: Martin Karplus (Univ de Strasbourg/Harvard) Michael Levitt (Standford), Arieh Warshel (Univ of Southern California) "for the development of multiscale models for complex chemical systems."

This month we will be having an American Chemical Society Lecture on Clean energy as part of National Chemistry Week. It should be interesting for both chemists and biologists as the speaker will be discussing artificial photosynthesis!
