Today, MC students and staff participated in Part I of our 9/11 Day events, Remembering and Honoring Heroes from 9/11.

They learned about Flight 93 in Pennsylvania from Professor Hessami from the Political Science Department, watched part of 9/11: Inside the Pentagon to learn about Flight 77 that hit the Pentagon, and wrote letters to survivors of the terrorist attacks.

Thank you to the Political Science Department for partnering with us to provide us further education on this tragedy. Additionally, thank you to our generous sponsors 9/11 Day AmeriCorps Transform Mid-Atlantic for making this event possible.

This was part I (on campus). Check out our posting for our off campus event in Baltimore for part 2!!
