Women in Aviation is a student organization at Lewis University that is here to educate and assist students in their efforts to learn and be exposed to all aspects of aviation: Flight Management, Aviation Administration, Maintenance, Air Traffic Control, Security, and Transportation. Lewis Women in Aviation provides many opportunities to network with aviation professionals in the Chicagoland area, as well as tour local facilities. We also offer workshops that focus on scholarships and internships that prepare you for the real world. Lastly, each spring we attend the Women in Aviation International Conference. This allows you to take the opportunity to start networking and meet potential employers from all around the world!!

I hope you're having a fantastic summer so far! We’re excited about all the great events coming up next month. First, there’s the 49th annual breakfast with the EAA chapter at Lewis University airport — it’s always a wonderful gathering. Next, we’ll celebrate the inspiring women in aviation, highlighting their contributions. Then, there’s the Air Race Classic, which will run over a few exciting days. Finally, don’t miss the Run the Runway event at Chicago Executive Airport (PWK), a fun way to experience the airport up close. We hope to see you there and share in these amazing experiences!
