This national honor recognizes student pharmacists who demonstrate exceptional leadership, service and commitment to improving public health. Through her work with the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation, Deanna has represented pharmacy students and young health professionals at major global health forums, advocating for issues that impact communities around the world.

After graduation, fourth-year pharmacy student, Deanna Apicella is heading to NEOvations Pharmacy Services as a Clinical Pharmacist! She’ll be working alongside an interprofessional primary care team at NEOMED Health Care at DeWeese Health Center on Kent State’s campus — helping grow clinical services and elevate patient care.
