The Consortium of Eastern Ohio Master of Public Health (CEOMPH) program is an accredited MPH program that is a partnership between The University of Akron (UA), Cleveland State University (CSU), Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED), Ohio University (OU), and Youngstown State University (YSU). This nontraditional program is geared toward the working professional who would like to broaden his

or her role in improving community health, enhance current job skills, or seek career advancement. Students are encouraged to move through the program as a cohort with core courses being taught through hybrid online and webinar modalities. Unique program features:

- Distance learning (mostly webinar and online) for the six core
courses and three generalist track courses
- Elective courses at any partner university
- Saturday classes for core courses to accommodate working
students

Hi everyone! My name is Gabe Perrotta and l am the class of 2025 representative for the Student Networking Group and the Program Coordinating Council. I graduated from Youngstown State University in May 2025 with a B.S. in Biology and then started the MPH program in Fall of 2025, so I’m in my second semester right now! My passions within public health include epidemiology, health promotion and education, and improving population health outcomes.

Along with academics, I am also a Graduate Assistant with the Sokolov Honors College at YSU. In my free time, I enjoy working out, cooking, and spending time with my family/friends!
