When Riley Moberly, M.D. ('26) opened her Match Day envelope, she learned she matched at her first-choice program: Boston Children’s Hospital ❤️

But one detail made the moment even more meaningful.

Her brother, Trey Moberly, M.D. (’21), never got to experience a traditional Match Day celebration because of the COVID-19 pandemic. So Riley made sure he was the one who opened her envelope this year.

“Just knowing that he’s been my mentor and my go-to person… it was really cool to have him share that experience with me,” Riley said.

From early visits to NEOMED through Anatomy Academy to matching at one of the nation’s top pediatric programs, Riley says NEOMED helped prepare her not only in medicine and science—but in how to “be a good teammate and really be a good human.”
