New program embeds dental students in Ohio communities to improve access and address shortages in rural and urban oral health care.

Our students toured NEOMED’s state-of-the-art Medical Innovation & Design Innovation Center, where Jim Keszenheimer walked them through the center’s advanced 3D-printing and fabrication capabilities.

Students explored the same FormLabs SLA 3D printers they’ll be using in dental coursework—printers that support FDA-approved, dental-grade materials and real-world clinical applications.

This hands-on experience directly supports their coursework in cariology, dental anatomy, and the Intro to Patient-Centered Case class—strengthening their ability to design, analyze and apply digital workflows in dentistry.

We’re excited to continue giving students the tools, technology and confidence to shape the future of digital dentistry. 🚀🦷

Get to Know Dr. Kristin Victoroff, D.D.S., Ph.D.,

Dr. Victoroff serves as Associate Dean for Education and Academic Affairs and associate professor in the Department of General Dentistry.

She is a nationally recognized dental educator and academic leader with more than two decades of experience advancing curriculum innovation, faculty development and student leadership training.

She earned her D.D.S. from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada, and her Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. With expertise that bridges clinical dentistry and organizational psychology, Dr. Victoroff has developed transformative approaches to dental education that emphasize emotional intelligence and leadership.

Before joining NEOMED, she served as associate dean for education at Case Western Reserve University’s School of Dental Medicine, where she led successful accreditation reviews and created a pioneering leadership training program for dental students. Her research — including an award-winning article in the Journal of Dental Education — continues to shape the future of the profession.
