“When I faced serious health challenges that made my education uncertain, the UWest community showed its incredible strength. From the faculty to the student services staff, the university rallied behind me with support and opportunities. At a time when everything felt unstable, this university gave me certainty. I am moving forward knowing that the most important lesson I learned here happened outside the classroom: the power of a community with compassion.” - Mehryar Parsi, MBA, Graduate Valedictorian
